What's Happening? News & Events

We always have something going on at San Manuel, and we want to share the good news with you. We update this page frequently with the latest student accomplishments and school news.

Anti-Bullying Training

Pinal County Health has trained all elementary teachers and students in anti-bullying techniques and we are working to put those to good use. You can help by talking to your student about being an upstander (saying something to stop a situation) instead of a bystander. More projects, such as our Be Kind Wednesdays, will continue to begin on campus. Check out IG or Facebook for current pictures!

IDs - Keeping Students Safe, One Picture at a Time

We issued all students in grades six through 12 an ID this year; the IDs will be used in multiple ways, but primarily to identify those on campus (high school teachers will be able to identify junior high and elementary students and vice versa). We expect students to have their ID on when they walk onto campus and to have it visible at all times. As we are working on responsibility, students who forget their ID, have the choice of purchasing a new one or attending ISS for insubordination if they can’t make a phone call home to have their ID brought to them.

IDs will also serve the purpose of rewards: we will give pins to students who show success academically in the classroom, on MAPS ©, AzMERIT (AzM2), as well as for behavior, and attendance.

If you have any questions, please call the office at any time.
