What's Happening? News & Events
We always have something going on at San Manuel, and we want to share the good news with you. We update this page frequently with the latest student accomplishments and school news.
If you have a change of income for any reason, you can apply to the national school lunch program through all schools. Families impacted by the federal government shutdown, loss of jobs, loss of hours, or lower pay may qualify for the free and/or reduced school meals. You can submit an application for the free and/or reduced school meals for your children and use your current earnings when reporting salary. The Arizona Department of Education (ADE) encourages you to submit an updated application with the change of income when you return to work.
Please feel free to call Joanna Diaz, DTR, our food service director, at (520) 385.2336 ext. 2214 with any questions.
Senior night is February 1, 2019. The event begins at 6:35 p.m. in the gym. We would like to congratulate all of our seniors, and we look forward to seeing you there!
It’s that time of the year again! Did you know that you can use your 2019 Arizona School Tax Credit to help a child get more out of school.? A state tax credit will allow you to reduce the amount of your tax liability to the state or increase your refund from the state. The $400 maximum state tax credit is available for taxpayers married and filing jointly. Those married and filing separately each qualify for a $200 maximum credit. For single/head of household, the maximum is $200. You may designate which school or program you would like to apply your donation to.
It is our hope that you will consider making a tax credit donation to the Mammoth-San Manuel Unified School District. There is a limit with district budgets, and the budgets can’t cover all the expenses we would like. It is contributions from caring individuals that help us achieve our goal of offering the very best opportunities to our students.
You can smile knowing that you will get that money back! You can either have it refunded or deducted from your state tax bill!
