Students who become ill during school hours should report to class first and request a pass to the see the nurse. We require a parent/guardian to pick up ill students.
What if my son or daughter needs to take medication during school hours?
The school nurse or trained designee may dispense medication to students with a medication consent form on file. All medication must arrive to the nurse's office in the original container with the original unaltered label from the pharmacy (which includes the student’s name).

Do you allow phones and electronics on campus?
We allow students to use cell phones between classes and during lunch; however, we do not permit the use of electronic devices such as cell phones, radios, video games, music-playing devices, or recorders during the day from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. For the first violation, we will confiscate the item and return it at the end of the day. For subsequent violations, a parent must pick up the item in person. Students bring electronic devices to campus at their own risk—we are not responsible for these items in any way.
What is the tardy policy?
We consider students not in the correct class/work station when the bell rings as tardy (unless holding a pass from a school official). We place tardy students into In School Suspension during that class period. If a student accumulates nine tardies in a given class, we will assign that student to Saturday School. Upon completion of Saturday School assignments, the tardy record resets for that class period.
What if my child must be absent from school?
A parent or guardian must call the attendance office at (520) 385.2336 by 9:00 a.m. to report an absence.
